Abstract

|
Spontaneous intracranial hypotension (SIH) during pregnancy has been infrequently reported. Diagnosis and treatment of SIH are challenging during pregnancy because CT and MR myelographies with contrast enhancement and epidural blood patch (EBP) using fluoroscopy are contraindicated. We present a case of intractable SIH in a pregnant patient who was successfully treated with targeted EBP using nonenhanced spine MRI.
